Introduction & Key Information

The 2020 Kangaroo Island, Palace of Production, Artist Residency  is a partnership between Country Arts SA and 'Palace of Production' owner Catherine Murphy, managed by Country Arts SA.

The residency honours the creative spirit of Cath Cantlon, who produced contemporary art and sculpture in her studio, built in 2012, behind the home she shared with her partner in Emu Bay, Kangaroo Island.

Cath always referred to her studio as “the Palace”, after her partner dubbed it the “Palace of Production”.
